An orthodox Jewish man is giving a BarMitzvah dinner for a good
friend, also orthodox. At the last minute the butcher from whom he buys kosher
meat runs out of chicken and can’t fill his order. This guy, who’s a
a bit flaky, sneaks into the Jewel, buys some non kosher chicken,
cooks it and serves it to the big party. He makes the mistake of admitting
to a friend who is drinking with him at the party how clever he was
with the substitution. That friend, being short of money threatens black
mail if the guilty one won’t give him cash.

Woody can finish the story, maybe having the victim of the blackmail giving
marked bills to the blackmailer, generating his being arrested………..

But, you MUST see Shaun of the Dead. Must. Must must must. You’ll love it.

And where is BIRDCAGE? Loved that movie…one of the funniest ever. And please…no ARTHUR? There is no funnier movie. None. Sure alcoholics aren’t funny now…but then?

And I don’t watch a lot of movies. I guess they have to make a cut somewhere…

But it’s fun to see which ones I’ve seen. Diana, if you rent Duck Soup, you must do so with a Marx Brothers fan. They are hilarious…and the dialogue is so quick!

Harold and Kumar? What about HAROLD AND MAUDE???

But *where* in the world is IT HAPPENED ON NIGHT? Oscar winner and a total comedy classic. Give me a break. Any list that doesn’t have that movie on it is insane.
